2023 IBCPC Dragon Boat Festival

April 10-April 16 Lake Karapiro / New Zealand

GoPink!DC looks forward to attending the 2023 IBCPC Dragon Boat Festival,  held every 3 to 4 years, under the auspices of the International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission. The festival is an international non-competitive participatory event for breast cancer paddler teams who engage in Dragonboat activities as post breast cancer diagnosis rehabilitation. The New Zealand Festival will be a sporting event but above all a social occasion in which New Zealand will welcome 4000 to 5000 people from all over the world.  Don't miss out on being part of this great event happening 10 April 2023 - 16 April 2023 and participating in the week-long celebrations culminating in three days of intense activity, demonstrations, workshops and social events aimed at awareness and dialogue within the large international community of breast-cancer paddlers.

To participate in the 2023 New Zealand Festival as a GoPink!DC member, join the team by the registration deadline of October 31, 2021.

Funding to participate in IBCPC participatory races is made possible through sponsorships, special fundraising team efforts, and the generousity of individual donors.  Learn more by visiting the IBCPC New Zealand page of this website.
