2013 GoPink!DC Practice Signup Typical Practice Session – Arrive 15 minutes before practice begins – Get gear and Warm-up – Seat Line-up – Launch boat – 60 minutes of paddling on the water - instruction, drills, race practice – Return to dock – Stretch and cool-down Suggested Items to Bring – Sunblock– Bottled water (1 to 3 depending on the heat index) – Sunglasses with securing strap – Secure hat or visor – Boating Butt Pad or a Gardner's kneeling pad to sit on for padding (club has extras to use at no charge) What to Wear You will be on water so be prepared to get a little wet! – Quick-dry shorts or pants and a tee shirt/tank top – Sandals, boat shoes or old sneakers – Water-resistant jacket, long pants, hat (cooler temps) – Paddling Gloves |
