GoPink!DC invites you to the DC Dragon Boat Festival, May 16-17.
GoPink!DC will compete against other BCS teams this summer.
GoPink!DC is part of National Capital Area Women's Paddling Association, a 501c3 charitable organization under the DC tax code.
Donations to National Capital Area Women's Paddling Association and earmarked for GoPink! are used on behalf of breast cancer survivors, for education and outreach, to introduce dragon boating as a therapeutic sport for breast cancer survivors.
No one who cannot pay for our fees is excluded from GoPink! Our team provides funds for survivors who cannot afford equipment, dues, or costs of competing. We depend entirely on volunteers.
By making visible the ancient Chinese sport of dragon boating in the Washington area and by competing nationally and internationally we promote cultural understanding and bring attention to the need to find a cure for breast cancer.
